DAY OF DETAILS

Location and Parking Information:

The event takes in the parking lot behind Uptown Christiansburg. The event entrance is located right behind Dick's Sporting Goods. Parking is available all around the mall. We recommend parking near the movie theatre, Dick's, or the front of the mall. If you park in the front of the mall, you can also walk through the mall to access the back parking lot.

What is Touch-a-Truck and who does it benefit?

The New River Valley Home Builders Association’s Touch-A-Truck NRV allows children to become familiar with building industry and public service careers by offering an educational opportunity to explore trucks, tractors, heavy machinery and to interact with the people who build, protect, and serve the NRV.

Proceeds from this event go towards the New River Valley Home Builders Association and the NRVHBA Microgrant Program, which provides funding for special projects and/or materials within elementary and secondary classrooms that align with the workforce development interests of the home building and construction industry.
